LATERAL
RAIL SYSTEMS
Lateral Railing Systems are architecturally dramatic,
but cost more to fabricate and install. They normally
consist of a horizontal top cap on the top rail,
which must withstand the load per linear foot
as required by building code. The also have vertical
posts to support the entire system. Finally, they
have horizontal/lateral members to form the guard
rail "infill". Click
